Acupuncture may help support stress and anxiety by encouraging regulation of the nervous system and helping the body move out of a prolonged “fight or flight” state. Treatments are gentle, grounding and calming.
As a registered nurse, I’m particularly mindful of people who feel anxious about their health, medications or treatments. Sessions are always unhurried, with time to talk through concerns and ensure you feel safe, listened to and supported.
Many clients describe feeling calmer and more settled following treatment, with benefits often building gradually over a short course of sessions. Individual responses vary.
